After his parents death, Charlie lives with his grandmother Agatha in Alabama, where they encounter real witches who plan to turn children into mice, but together with a boy named Bruno, they devise a successful plan to defeat the witches and save themselves. The movie is inspired from The Witches by Roald Dahl. The Witches was Produced by Alfonso Cuaron, Robert Zemeckis, Jack Rapke, Guillermo Del Toro, Alfonso Cuar N and Luke Kelly. The Witches is written by Kenya Barris, Robert Zemeckis and Guillermo Del Toro and it is directed by Robert Zemeckis. Warner Bros. Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the film. The Witches was released on 4th June 2021 and takes a screen time of 106 minutes. The film made a box office gross of $26 million. Cinematography was done by Don Burgess and editing by Jeremiah O Driscoll and Ryan Chan. The music was composed by Alan Silvestri.
