A new mother from London, Beth, confides in her friend Kate about her marriage troubles during a trip to Croatia, but after a night of clubbing, Beth wakes up with no memory, only to realize Kate is now missing, leading Beth on a journey to uncover the truth about her friends disappearance and confront the corrupt policeman involved while also revealing her own husbands murderous actions. The Weekend Away is a 2022 American English-language Crime Drama motion picture starring Leighton Meester, Christina Wolfe, Ziad Bakri, Luke Norris, Amar Bukvi, Iva Mihali and Alan Mundrake. The movie is based on The Weekend Away by Sarah Alderson. 42 was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Erica Steinberg, Charlie Morrison and Ben Pugh. The movie is directed by Kim Farrant. Netflix acquired the distribution rights for the movie. The Weekend Away was released on 3rd March 2022 and takes a screen time of 89 minutes.
