An 11-year-old boy in Oregon, with a mother battling leukemia and a distant father, seeks out a local legend known as The Water Man with the hope that it can save his mother, all while struggling to navigate through a forest fire and encountering peculiar occurrences along the way. The Water Man is a 2020 American English-language Adventure Drama motion picture featuring David Oyelowo, Rosario Dawson, Lonnie Chavis, Amiah Miller, Alfred Molina, Maria Bello and Isaac Cushman. The Water Man was Produced by David Oyelowo, Carla Gardini, Shivani Rawat and Monica Levinson. The Water Man is written by Emma Needell and directed by David Oyelowo. RLJE Films acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. The Water Man was released on 9th July 2021 and takes a screen time of 92 minutes. The Water Man was made on a budget of $24 million and at the box office it grossed only $13 million. Cinematography was done by Matthew J. Lloyd and editing by Blu Murray. The music was composed by Peter Baert.
