In the near future, a charismatic leader summons the street gangs of New York City in a bid to take it over. When he is killed, The Warriors are falsely blamed and now must fight their way home while every other gang is hunting them down. The Warriors is a 1979 American English-language Action Thriller motion picture featuring Michael Beck, James Remar, Dorsey Wright, Brian Tyler, David Harris, Tom Mckitterick and Kenneth Boys. The movie is based on The Warriors by Sol Yurick. The Warriors was Produced by Lawrence Gordon. The Warriors is written by Sol Yurick, David Shaber and Walter Hill and it is directed by Walter Hill. Paramount Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the film. The Warriors was released on 1st February 1979 and takes a screen time of 92 minutes. and it received positive reviews from critics when it was released. The Warriors was made on a budget of $4 million and it was a hit at box office gross of $4 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by David Shaber and Walter Hill.
