After a highly skilled assassin named Sook-hee undergoes plastic surgery and assumes a new identity, she must trade her freedom for a decade of training and service with South Koreas intelligence agency, only to discover that her first mission involves her supposedly deceased husband, leading to a series of killings, uncovering of secrets, and a tragic ending. The Villainess is a 2017 Korean Korean-language Action Crime motion picture featuring Kim Ok-vin, Shin Ha-kyun, Ok-bin Kim, Ha-kyun Shin, Jun Sung, Seo-hyeong Kim and Lee Chae Yun. Independent Filmmakers Group BFG was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Moon Young-hwa. The Villainess is written by Jung Byung-gil and Jung Byeong-sik and it is directed by Jung Byung-gil. Next Entertainment World acquired the distribution rights for the film. The film has a running time of 129 minutes. The movie made a box office gross of $8 million. Cinematography was done by Park Jung-hoon and editing by Heo Sun-mi. The music was composed by Koo Ja-wan.
