The neighbors of a frontier family turn on them when it is suspected that their adopted daughter was stolen from the local Kiowa tribe. The Unforgiven is a 1960 American English-language Drama Romance film starring Burt Lancaster, Audrey Hepburn, Audie Murphy, John Saxon, Charles Bickford, Lillian Gish and Carlos Rivas. Hill-Hecht-Lancaster Productions was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) James Hill. The Unforgiven is written by Ben Maddow and Alan Le May and it is directed by John Huston. United Artists acquired the distribution rights for the film. The Unforgiven was released on 6th April 1960 and takes a screen time of 125-121 minutes. and it received positive reviews from critics when it was released. The Unforgiven was made on a budget of $5 million and at the box office it grossed only $3 million. Cinematography was done by Franz Planer and editing by Russell Lloyd. The music was composed by Dimitri Tiomkin.
