The Turning is a 2020 American English-language Drama Horror film featuring Mackenzie Davis, Finn Wolfhard, Brooklynn Prince, Joely Richardson, Mark Huberman, Barbara Marten and Darlene Garr. The movie is based on The Turn of the Screw by Henry James. DreamWorks Pictures in association with Amblin Entertainment and Vertigo Entertainment. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Scott Bernstein and Roy Lee. The movie is directed by Floria Sigismondi. Universal Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the film. The Turning was released on 23rd January 2020 and takes a screen time of 94 minutes. The Turning was made on a budget of $14 million and at the box office it grossed only $1 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Carey W. Hayes and Chad Hayes. Cinematography was done by David Ungaro and editing by Duwayne Dunham and Glenn Garland. The music was composed by Nathan Barris along with Nathan Barr.
