A police inspector investigates a series of murders on a train while dealing with his complicated love life in this tense Bollywood thriller. The Train is a 1970 Indian Hindi-language Action Crime film featuring Rajesh Khanna, Nanda Vinayak, Helen Richardson, Rajendra Nath Malhotra, Madan Puri, Sudesh Sunder and Sopariwala. The movie is inspired from Cochin Express. Rose Movies was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Ramesh Behl and Rajendra Kumar. The Train is written by Arudra, V.d. Puranik and Raj Baldev Raj and it is directed by Ravikant Nagaich. Rose Movies Pvt. Ltd. acquired the distribution rights for the film. The Train was released on 10th April 1970. The Train was made on a budget of ₹7 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹5 crore. Cinematography was done by Ravikant Nagaich and editing by Nand Kumar. The music was composed by Rahul Dev Burman along with R. D. Burman.
