A man named Henry DeTamble gains the ability to time travel after a car accident, and he meets a woman named Clare Abshire who has known him since she was a child due to his future self visiting her; they struggle in their relationship due to his time travels, difficulties in having children, and eventually, Henry dies in Clares arms. The movie is inspired from The Time Traveler s Wife by Audrey Niffenegger. New Line Cinema in association with Plan B Entertainment. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Nick Wechsler and Dede Gardner. The Time Travelers Wife is written by Bruce Joel Rubin and Audrey Niffenegger and it is directed by Robert Schwentke. Warner Bros. Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the film.
