A young man from the country named DArtagnan teams up with three musketeers to stop Cardinal Richelieus plans to gain power, while also getting involved in an affair and a mission to retrieve a diamond necklace for the Queen. The Three Musketeers is a 1973 English-language Action Adventure movie starring Oliver Reed, Raquel Welch, Richard Chamberlain, Michael York, Frank Finlay, Christopher Lee and Frank Thornton. The movie is based on The Three Musketeers 1844 novel by Alexandre Dumas p re. The Three Musketeers was Produced by Ilya Salkind. The Three Musketeers is written by George Macdonald Fraser and directed by Richard Lester. 20th Century Fox acquired the distribution rights for the movie. The Three Musketeers was released on 11th December 1973 and takes a screen time of 105 minutes. The Three Musketeers was made on a budget of $75 million and at the box office it grossed only $5 million. Cinematography was done by David Watkin and editing by John Victor Smith. The music was composed by Michel Legrand.
