A boy named Shō meets a girl named Arrietty who is a Borrower, and together they have adventures while trying to keep the Borrowers existence a secret from the humans. The Secret World of Arrietty is a 2010 Japanese Japanese-language Animation Adventure movie featuring Mirai Shida, Ryunosuke Kamiki, Shinobu Otake, Keiko Takeshita, Tatsuya Fujiwara, Tomokazu Miura and Shinobu Ôtake. The movie is based on The Borrowers by Mary Norton. Studio Ghibli was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Toshio Suzuki. The movie is directed by Hiromasa Yonebayashi. Toho acquired the distribution rights for the film. The Secret World of Arrietty was released on 17th July 2010 and takes a screen time of 95 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. The Secret World of Arrietty was made on a budget of $23 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $146 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Hayao Miyazaki and Keiko Niwa. Cinematography was done by Atsushi Okui and editing by Keiko Kadokawa, Rie Matsubara, Hiromi Sasaki and Takeshi Seyama. The music was composed by C Cile Corbel.
