The Running Man is a 1987 American English-language Action Sci-Fi movie featuring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Mar A Conchita Alonso, Yaphet Kotto, Richard Dawson, Maria Conchita Alonso, Jim Brown and Mel Scott-thomas. The movie is inspired from The Running Man by Richard Bachman. Braveworld Productions in association with Taft Entertainment and HBO Pictures. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) George Linder and Tim Zinnemann. The Running Man is written by Stephen King and Steven E De Souza and it is directed by Paul Michael Glaser. TriStar Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. The Running Man was released on 19th February 1987 and takes a screen time of 101 minutes. The Running Man was made on a budget of $27 million and at the box office it grossed only $24 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Steven E. de Souza. Cinematography was done by Thomas Del Ruth and editing by John Wright, Mark Warner and Edward A. Warschilka. The music was composed by Harold Faltermeyer.
