A team of police officers attempt to capture a notorious crime lord in an apartment block, but their mission quickly goes awry and they must fight their way through his thugs to confront him. The Raid is a 2011 Indonesian-language Action Crime motion picture featuring Iko Uwais, Joe Taslim, Donny Alamsyah, Yayan Ruhian, Pierre Gruno, Ray Sahetapy and Chris Stuckmann. The Raid was Produced by Ario Sagantoro. The film is written and directed by Gareth Evans. PT Merantau Films acquired the distribution rights for the film. The Raid was released on 17th May 2012 and takes a screen time of 101 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. The Raid was made on a budget of $1 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $9 million. Cinematography was done by Matt Flannery and Dimas Imam Subhono and editing by Gareth Evans.
