In a near-future America, a family prepares for the annual Purge where all crimes are legal, but their plans are disrupted when a wounded stranger seeks refuge in their home, leading to violent encounters and a temporary truce. The Purge is a 2013 American English-language Horror Thriller motion picture starring Ethan Hawke, Lena Headey, Adelaide Kane, Max Burkholder, Edwin Hodge, Rhys Wakefield and Kurt Finney. The Purge was Produced by Jason Blum, S Bastien K. Lemercier, Michael Bay, Andrew Form and Brad Fuller. The movie is written and directed by James Demonaco. Universal Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the movie. The Purge was released on 8th March 2019 and takes a screen time of 85 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. The Purge was made on a budget of $3 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $89 million. Cinematography was done by Jacques Jouffret and editing by Peter Gvozdas. The music was composed by Nathan Whitehead.
