Exiled artist and poet Mustafa embarks on a journey home with his housekeeper and her daughter; together the trio must evade the authorities who fear that the truth in Mustafa s words will incite rebellion. The Prophet is a 2015 English-language Animation Drama motion picture featuring Liam Neeson, Salma Hayek, John Krasinski, Frank Langella, Alfred Molina, Quvenzhan Wallis and Michael Bell. The movie is based on The Prophet by Kahlil Gibran. The Prophet was Produced by Salma Hayek, Clark Peterson, Jose Tamez and Ron Senkowski. The Prophet is written by Roger Allers, Kahlil Gibran, Hanna Weg, Irene Mecchi and Douglas Wood and it is directed by Roger Allers, Gaëtan Brizzi and Paul Brizzi. GKIDS acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. The Prophet was released on 30th April 2015 and takes a screen time of 85 minutes.
