A private investigator in 1978 Texas reunites with his ex-girlfriend and uncovers a scheme by a doctor to kill mentally ill patients for their social security money. The Poison Rose is a 2019 American English-language Mystery Thriller film featuring John Travolta, Morgan Freeman, Famke Janssen, Kat Graham, Peter Stormare, Blerim Destani and Bradley Stull. The movie is based on The Poison Rose by Richard Salvatore. Grindstone Entertainment Group in association with Iervolino Entertainment, Millennium Media and March On Productions. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Jeff Elliott, Oscar Generale, Andrea Iervolino and Richard Salvatore. The Poison Rose is written by Richard Salvatore, Francesco Cinquemani and Luca Giliberto and it is directed by George Gallo and Francesco Cinquemani. Lionsgate acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. The Poison Rose was released on 23rd May 2019 and takes a screen time of 98 minutes. The motion picture made a box office gross of $0 million. Cinematography was done by Terry Stacey and editing by Yvan Gauthier. The music was composed by Aldo Shllaku along with Marcus Sjowall.
