A man named Luke Glanton leaves his job as a stuntman and starts robbing banks with a mechanic named Robin to be with his ex and their child, but after a violent encounter, Luke is arrested and bailed out by Robin, resulting in him continuing the robberies alone until he is eventually shot and killed by a rookie cop, which leads to the cop, Avery, covering up his actions and becoming corrupt, but years later, when their sons discover the truth about their fathers, it leads to a violent confrontation and Lukes son starts a new life.
