Amidst a series of events involving a murdered Bosnian Minister, a hijacked train carrying nuclear warheads, and an impending attack on the UN headquarters, Lieutenant Colonel Devoe and his team work together with FSB Colonel Vertikoff to prevent further havoc. The Peacemaker is a 1997 American English-language Action Thriller film featuring George Clooney, Nicole Kidman, Armin Mueller-stahl, Marcel Iures, Aleksandr Baluev, Rene Medvesek and Josh Mowery. The movie is inspired from One Point Safe by Andrew Cockburn and Leslie Redlich Cockburn. The Peacemaker was Produced by Branko Lustig and Walter F. Parkes. The Peacemaker is written by Leslie Cockburn, Andrew Cockburn and Michael Schiffer and it is directed by Mimi Leder. DreamWorks Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the movie. The Peacemaker was released on 13th November 1997 and takes a screen time of 124 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. The Peacemaker was made on a budget of $50 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $110 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Michael Schiffer. Cinematography was done by Dietrich Lohmann and editing by David Rosenbloom. The music was composed by Hans Zimmer.

      Other than that, this film does not deliver in regards to its thrills moniker one bit, and will leave many a thriller fan invariably disappointed.Mind you, if you enjoy films that seem to realistically encapsulate the essence of being part of an actual governmental body of people chasing after bad guys, then you might enjoy most of the talkie talkies in this film.
