A novelist, Simran, experiences paranormal activities while staying in Yuvraajs bungalow and gets possessed by the spirit of his missing wife, which leads to the discovery of a hidden corpse and Yuvraajs secret. The Past is a 2018 Indian Hindi-language Drama Horror film starring Vedita Pratap Singh, Samiksha Bhatt, Yuvraaj Parashar, Rajesh Sharma, Sonia Albizuri, Yuvraj Parashar and Indra Mohan Singh. Peacock Motion Filmz was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Jaspal Singh and Nitesh Kumar. The Past is written by Sandip V Rale and directed by Gagan Puri. N M Entertainment acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. The Past was released on 11th May 2018 and takes a screen time of 122 minutes. The movie made a box office gross of ₹39 lakh. Cinematography was done by Soni Singh and editing by Subham Srivastav. The music was composed by Mannan Munjal.
