The Outlaw Josey Wales is a 1976 American English-language Western motion picture starring Clint Eastwood, Chief Dan George, Sondra Locke, Bill Mckinney, John Vernon, Paula Trueman and Walter Scott. The movie is inspired from Gone to Texas by Forrest Carter. The Malpaso Company was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Robert Daley. The Outlaw Josey Wales is written by Forrest Carter, Philip Kaufman and Sonia Chernus and it is directed by Clint Eastwood. Warner Bros. acquired the distribution rights for the movie. The Outlaw Josey Wales was released on 7th August 1976 and takes a screen time of 135 minutes. and it received positive reviews from critics when it was released and became successful at box office.
