Action Sci-fi Thriller
A former agent seeks to become a super-powered being by killing alternate versions of himself, but is ultimately defeated and sent to prison in a separate universe. The One is a 2001 American English-language Action Sci-Fi movie featuring Jet Li, Delroy Lindo, Carla Gugino, Jason Statham, James Morrison, Dylan Bruno and Michael Sercerchi. Revolution Studios in association with Hard Eight Pictures. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Steve Chasman, Glen Morgan, Charles Newirth and James Wong. The One is written by Glen Morgan and James Wong and it is directed by James Wong. Sony Pictures Releasing acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. The One was released on 2nd November 2001 and takes a screen time of 87 minutes. The One was made on a budget of $30 million and at the box office it grossed only $0 million. Cinematography was done by Robert McLachlan and editing by James Coblentz. The music was composed by Trevor Rabin.
