The Number 23

An animal control officer named Walter Sparrow becomes obsessed with the number 23 after reading a book with the same title, believing it connects to his own life, but eventually discovers that he is the author of the book and has a dark past involving a woman named Laura Tollins whom he killed and buried, leading him to make the decision to turn himself in to the police and prevent further harm. The Number 23 is a 2007 American English-language Mystery Thriller film starring Jim Carrey, Virginia Madsen, Logan Lerman, Danny Huston, Lynn Collins, Rhona Mitra and Regina Palian. Contrafilm in association with Firm Films. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Beau Flynn and Tripp Vinson. The Number 23 is written by Fernley Phillips and directed by Joel Schumacher. New Line Cinema acquired the distribution rights for the film. The Number 23 was released on 29th March 2007 and takes a screen time of 98 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. The Number 23 was made on a budget of $30 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $77 million. Cinematography was done by Matthew Libatique and editing by Mark Stevens. The music was composed by Harry Gregson-williams.
