The Negotiation

A Filipino kidnapper in Seoul is killed, leaving his partner to take a woman hostage, as Inspector Ha Chae-youn is called back to handle a new crisis involving an arms dealers kidnapping, leading her to uncover corruption while seeking justice. The Negotiation is a 2018 Korean Korean-language Action Crime film featuring Son Ye-jin, Hyun Bin, Ye-jin Son, Sang-ho Kim, Gwang Jang, Young Nam Jang and Soo-young Park. JK Film in association with CJ E&M. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Yoon Je-kyoon and Lee Sang-jik. The movie is directed by Lee Jong-seok. CJ Entertainment acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. The Negotiation was released on 4th October 2018 and takes a screen time of 114 minutes. The Negotiation was made on a budget of $10 billion and at the box office it grossed only $15 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Choi Sung-hyun. Cinematography was done by Lee Tae-yoon and editing by Jung Jin-hee. The music was composed by Hwang Sang-joon.
