During an expedition, an archaeologist discovers past-life memories and embarks on a quest with his friend to find a rare material, leading them to a tomb where they encounter the reincarnations of General Meng Yi and a Korean princess, ultimately fighting to protect an immortality elixir but facing tragic losses along the way. The Myth is a 2005 Indian English-language Action Adventure motion picture starring Sunil Shetty, Sushmita Sen, Namrata Shirodkar, Bing Shao, Jackie Chan, Weixing Yao and Shanhao Ye. The Myth was Produced by Barbie Tung, Jackie Chan, Solon So, Willie Chan and Dr. D. Ramanaidu. The Myth is written by Stanley Tong, Kamlesh Pandey and Alok Upadhyay and it is directed by Stanley Tong and Yogesh Ishwar. Suresh Productions acquired the distribution rights for the movie. The Myth was released on 23rd September 2005 and takes a screen time of 160 mins. The Myth was made on a budget of $15 million and at the box office it grossed only $6 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Nikhil Saini. Cinematography was done by Shyam K. Naidu and editing by K. V. Krishna Reddy. The music was composed by Anu Malik along with and M. M. Srilekha.
