The movie is based on Characters by Stephen Sommers Lloyd Fonvielle Kevin Jarre. Alphaville Films was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Sean Daniel and James Jacks. The motion picture is written and directed by Stephen Sommers. Universal Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the film. The Mummy Returns was released on 24th May 2001 in English and Arabic languages and takes a screen time of 130 minutes.
