A shy, middle-aged professor enters into a romantic but non-physical relationship with an unlucky-in-love colleague. The Mirror Has Two Faces is a 1996 American English-language Comedy Drama motion picture starring Barbra Streisand, Jeff Bridges, Pierce Brosnan, George Segal, Mimi Rogers, Brenda Vaccaro and Lea Walker. The movie is inspired from Le Miroir deux faces by Andr Cayatte G rard Oury. Phoenix Pictures in association with Arnon Milchan Productions and Barwood Films. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Barbra Streisand and Arnon Milchan. The Mirror Has Two Faces is written by André Cayatte, Gérard Oury, Richard Lagravenese, Jean Meckert and Denis Perret and it is directed by Barbra Streisand. TriStar Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the movie. The Mirror Has Two Faces was released on 20th February 1997 and takes a screen time of 127 minutes. The Mirror Has Two Faces was made on a budget of $42 million and at the box office it grossed only $41 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Richard LaGravenese. Cinematography was done by Dante Spinotti and Andrzej Bartkowiak and editing by Jeff Werner. The music was composed by Marvin Hamlisch.
