Action Comedy Fantasy

A Hong Kong police inspector teams up with Interpol to capture a crime lord and his accomplices, saving a boy who possesses a legendary medallion and gaining superhuman abilities in the process, ultimately defeating the villain and achieving immortality. The Medallion is a 2003 English-language Action Comedy movie featuring Jackie Chan, Lee Evans, Claire Forlani, Julian Sands, John Rhys-davies, Anthony Chau-sang Wong and Chris Torres. Emperor Multimedia Group was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Alfred Cheung. The Medallion is written by Bennett Joshua Davlin, Alfred Cheung, Gordon Chan, Paul Wheeler and Bey Logan and it is directed by Gordon Chan. TriStar Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the movie. The Medallion was released on 15th August 2003 and takes a screen time of 88 minutes. The Medallion was made on a budget of $35 million and at the box office it grossed only $34 million. Cinematography was done by Arthur Wong and editing by Don Brochu and Chan Ki-hop. The music was composed by Adrian Lee.
