A timid bank clerk named Stanley Ipkiss finds a magical mask that transforms him into a mischievous and powerful trickster, which he uses to seek revenge on his bullies, rob a bank, save a girl named Tina from a gangster, and ultimately gain confidence in himself. The Mask is a 1994 American English-language Comedy Family film starring Jim Carrey, Peter Riegert, Peter Greene, Amy Yasbeck, Richard Jeni, Cameron Diaz and Peter Wick. The movie is based on The Mask by Dark Horse Comics. The Mask was Produced by Bob Engelman. The Mask is written by Michael Fallon, Mark Verheiden and Mike Werb and it is directed by Chuck Russell and Charles Russell. New Line Cinema acquired the distribution rights for the movie. The Mask was released on 29th July 1994 and takes a screen time of 101 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. The Mask was made on a budget of $23 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $351 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Mike Werb. Cinematography was done by John R. Leonetti and editing by Arthur Coburn. The music was composed by Randy Edelman.
