The movie is based on The Zoya Factor by Anuja Chauhan. Fox Star Studios in association with Ad-Labs Films Limited. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Fox Star Studios, Pooja Shetty and Aarrti Shetty. The Magic Pill is written by Anuja Chauhan and Pradhuman Singh and it is directed by Abhishek Sharma. Fox Star Studios acquired the distribution rights for the movie. The Magic Pill was released on 7th September 2017 and takes a screen time of 134 minutes. The film made a box office gross of $1 million.
