After the gods in heaven complain about Dragon Fighter Lohans practical jokes, the Jade Emperor banishes both Dragon and Tiger Fighter Lohan to be reincarnated as animals, but with the help of Guan Yin, Dragon is given a chance to change the fates of three people within three days, eventually defeating a demon and staying on earth while successfully altering the lives of the three individuals. The Mad Monk is a 1993 Cantonese-language Comedy Fantasy motion picture featuring Stephen Chow, Maggie Cheung, Anthony Wong, Kirk Wong, Ng Man Tat, Man-tat Ng and Sze Man Hui. The Mad Monk was Produced by Mona Fong. The Mad Monk is written by Sandy Shaw and directed by Johnnie To. Shaw Brothers Studio acquired the distribution rights for the movie. The Mad Monk was released on 29th July 1993 and takes a screen time of 85 minutes. The film made a box office gross of $21 million. Cinematography was done by Wong Winghang and editing by Danny Wong. The music was composed by Wai Lap Wu.
