A couples weekend getaway takes a dark turn when they suspect foul play by the caretaker and discover a mysterious young girl at the remote ranch. The Lodge is a 2008 American English-language Horror Thriller movie featuring Alfred Molina, Rachael Leigh Cook, Hope Davis, Simon Baker, Kevin Mcclatchy, Elizabeth Kell and Deanna Cramer. The movie is based on The Lodger 1913 novel by Marie Belloc Lowndes. Stage 6 Films was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) David Ondaatje and Michael Mailer. The Lodge is written by Deb Havener and David Ondaatje and it is directed by Brad Helmink, John Rauschelbach and David Ondaatje. Samuel Goldwyn Films acquired the distribution rights for the film. The Lodge was released on 10th April 2008 and takes a screen time of 95 minutes. The film made a box office gross of $3 million. Cinematography was done by David A. Armstrong and editing by William Flicker. The music was composed by John Frizzell.
