A young mermaid visits the human world and saves the life of a prince, leading her to work with him to stop the destruction of her underwater kingdom caused by humans. The Little Mermaid is a 1998 English-language Animation motion picture starring Jodi Benson, Tara Strong, Samuel E. Wright, Pat Carroll, Rob Paulsen, Kenneth Mars and Lee Perry. The movie is inspired from The Little Mermaid by Hans Christian Andersen. The Little Mermaid was Produced by Leslie Hough and David Lovegren. The Little Mermaid is written by Elizabeth Anderson, Temple Mathews, Elise D haene and Eddie Guzelian and it is directed by Jim Kammerud. Walt Disney Home Video acquired the distribution rights for the movie. The movie has a running time of 75 minutes. The Little Mermaid was made on a budget of $35 million and at the box office it grossed only $27 million. The music was composed by Danny Troob.
