Platforma Film was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Andrejs Is. The Lion King is written by Brenda Chapman, Jeff Nathanson, Aigars Grauba and Max Kinnings and it is directed by Jon Favreau and Aigars Grauba. Latvian Theatrical Distribution acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. The film has a running time of 110 minutes. Cinematography was done by Valdis Celmi and editing by Liga Pipare. The music was composed by Rihards Za Upe.
