A renowned scientist return to his Indian village aiming to invent a permanent cure for diabetes after witnessing his friends death and faces obstacles from a pharmaceutical company and thugs while falling in love with a co-worker, and eventually succeeds in getting his research formula approved by WHO and honoured by the Government of India. The Legend is a 2022 Indian Tamil-language Action Drama movie featuring Saravanan Arul, Urvashi Rautela, Geethika Tiwary, Vivek, Suman, Nassar and Dp Singappuli. Saravanana Productions was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Saravanan Arul. The Legend is written by J. D. Jerry and directed by Jd Jerry and J. D. Jerry. Gopuram Cinemas acquired the distribution rights for the film. The Legend was released on 28th July 2022 and takes a screen time of 161 minutes. The Legend was made on a budget of ₹45 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹4 crore. Cinematography was done by R. Velraj and editing by Ruben. The music was composed by Harris Jayaraj.
