A young boy named Aang with the ability to control all four elements is released from an iceberg by Sokka and Katara, and together with their help, he embarks on a journey to learn and master each element while facing challenges from the Fire Nation and their relentless pursuit to capture him. The Last Airbender is a 2010 American English-language Action Adventure film starring Noah Ringer, Dev Patel, Nicola Peltz, Jackson Rathbone, Shaun Toub, Aasif Mandvi and Manuel Ishkhanian. The movie is inspired from Avatar: The Last Airbender by Michael Dante DiMartino Bryan Konietzko. Nickelodeon Movies in association with Blinding Edge Pictures and The Kennedy/Marshall Company. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) M. Night Shyamalan, Sam Mercer and Frank Marshall. The motion picture is written and directed by M. Night Shyamalan. Paramount Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the movie. The Last Airbender was released on 5th August 2010 and takes a screen time of 103 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. The Last Airbender was made on a budget of $150 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $319 million. Cinematography was done by Andrew Lesnie and editing by Conrad Buff. The music was composed by James Newton Howard.
