An orphaned brontosaurus teams up with other young dinosaurs in order to reunite with their families in a valley. The Land Before Time is a 1988 English-language Animation Adventure motion picture featuring Gabriel Damon, Candace Hutson, Judith Barsi, Will Ryan, Pat Hingle, Helen Shaver and Joe Ranft. Amblin Entertainment in association with Sullivan Bluth Ltd. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Don Bluth, Gary Goldman and John Pomeroy. The Land Before Time is written by Stu Krieger, Judy Freudberg and Tony Geiss and it is directed by Don Bluth. Universal Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. The Land Before Time was released on 18th November 1988 and takes a screen time of 69 minutes. The film made a box office gross of $84 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Stu Krieger. Editing was done by John K. Carr and Dan Molina. The music was composed by James Horner.
