The movie depicts racial tensions in a Southern town, where the Sheriff intervenes in a sexual assault case but hate crimes and vigilante retaliation follow, with the involvement of the Ku Klux Klan and a civil rights activist. The Klansman is a 1974 English-language Crime Drama movie featuring Lee Marvin, Richard Burton, O. J. Simpson, Cameron Mitchell, O.j. Simpson, Lola Falana and Wade Riggs. The movie is based on The Klansman by William Bradford Huie. The Klansman was Produced by William D. Alexander, Bill Schiffrin, Howard Effron, Joe Inger, Michael Marcovsky, Rosemary Christenson, Peter A Rosie, Alvin Bojar, Jerry Levy and Daniel K. Sobol. The Klansman is written by Millard Kaufman and Samuel Fuller and it is directed by Terence Young. Paramount Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. The Klansman was released on 25th October 1974 and takes a screen time of 112 min. The Klansman was made on a budget of $5 million. Cinematography was done by Lloyd Ahern and editing by Gene Milford. The music was composed by Stu Gardner along with Dale O. Warren.
