THE ISLAND is a fiction which creates a perception of corruption in the nation's security which intent of challenging patriotism amidst corrupt influences The Island is a 2018 Mandarin-language Action Thriller film starring Huang Bo, Shu Qi, Lay Zhang, Wang Baoqiang, Yu Hewei, Femi Adebayo and Anita Osikhena Osikweme. Shanghai Hanna Film Culture Media Co. in association with Ltd. were the production houses involved in the project. The film is written and directed by Huang Bo. Maoyan Movie acquired the distribution rights for the movie. The film has a running time of 134 minutes. The film made a box office gross of $201 million.
