In Matobo, rebel leader Ajene Xola is killed along with Simon Broome by schoolboys they were investigating, while Philippe escapes and gathers incriminating evidence, leading to Silvia Broome, a UN interpreter, overhearing an assassination plot against Matobos President Zuwanie and reporting it to the security, which prompts US Secret Service agents Tobin Keller and Dot Woods to investigate, ultimately revealing that the plot was staged, resulting in Zuwanies indictment and Silvias reconciliation with Keller before she returns to Matobo. The Interpreter is a 2005 English-language Crime Mystery film starring Nicole Kidman, Sean Penn, Catherine Keener, Jesper Christensen, Yvan Attal, Earl Cameron and Michael D. Piccirilli. The Interpreter was Produced by Tim Bevan, Eric Fellner and Kevin Misher. The Interpreter is written by Martin Stellman, Brian Ward, Charles Randolph, Scott Frank and Steven Zaillian and it is directed by Sydney Pollack. United International Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. The Interpreter was released on 2nd November 2005 and takes a screen time of 128 minutes. The Interpreter was made on a budget of $80 million and at the box office it grossed only $0 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Charles Randolph, Scott Frank and Steven Zaillian.
