The Human Condition

A trilogy of films follows the journey of Kaji, a man struggling to maintain his morals in a corrupt world, as he navigates marriage, forced labor, military service, and war, ultimately leading to a tragic end. The Human Condition is a 1959 Japanese Japanese-language movie featuring Tatsuya Nakadai and Michiyo Aratama. Ninjin Club was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Shigeru Wakatsuki and Masaki Kobayashi. The movie is directed by Masaki Kobayashi. Shochiku acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. The Human Condition was released on 27th May 1959 in Japanese,Mandarin and Russian languages and takes a screen time of 579-208 minutes ,181-190 minutes. The screenplay for the movie was written by Masaki Kobayashi, Zenzo Matsuyama and Koichi Inagaki. Cinematography was done by Yoshio Miyajima and editing by Keiichi Uraoka. The music was composed by Chuji Kinoshita.
