A man returns to his small hometown after learning that his mother has fallen ill and is about to undergo surgery. The Hollars is a 2016 American English-language Comedy Drama movie featuring Sharlto Copley, Charlie Day, Richard Jenkins, Anna Kendrick, John Krasinski, Margo Martindale and Aaron J. Brooks. Groundswell Productions in association with Sycamore Pictures and Sunday Night Productions. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) John Krasinski, Ben Nearn, Tom Rice and Allyson Seeger. The Hollars is written by Jim Strouse and directed by John Krasinski. Sony Pictures Classics acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. The Hollars was released on 22nd September 2016 and takes a screen time of 89 minutes. The Hollars was made on a budget of $3 million and at the box office it grossed only $1 million. Cinematography was done by Eric Alan Edwards and editing by Terel Gibson. The music was composed by Josh Ritter.
