In 1980s Naples, a young boy named Fabietto dreams of studying philosophy while finding solace in music and idolizing Diego Maradona, but tragedy strikes when his parents die from carbon monoxide poisoning, forcing him to grow up quickly and face the harsh realities of life. The Hand of God is a 2021 Italian-language Drama motion picture featuring Filippo Scotti, Toni Servillo, Teresa Saponangelo, Marlon Joubert, Luisa Ranieri, Renato Carpentieri and Peppe Miale. The Apartment was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Paolo Sorrentino and Lorenzo Mieli. The motion picture is written and directed by Paolo Sorrentino. Netflix acquired the distribution rights for the film. The Hand of God was released on 15th December 2021 and takes a screen time of 130 minutes. Cinematography was done by Daria D Antonio and editing by Cristiano Travaglioli. The music was composed by Lele Marchitelli.
