In ancient China, European mercenaries join forces with the Nameless Order to fight alien monsters attacking the Great Wall, ultimately defeating the monsters queen and returning home with their comrades. The Great Wall is a 2016 English-language Action Adventure motion picture starring Matt Damon, Jing Tian, Pedro Pascal, Willem Dafoe, Andy Lau, Tian Jing and Stephen Chang. Legendary East in association with Atlas Entertainment, China Film Group and Le Vision Pictures. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Richard Suckle, Edward Zwick, Thomas Tull, Lloyd Phillips, Charles Roven, Jon Jashni and Peter Loehr. The Great Wall is written by Edward Zwick, Max Brooks, Doug Miro and Carlo Bernard and it is directed by Yimou Zhang and Zhang Yimou. Universal Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the movie. The Great Wall was released on 16th December 2016 in English,Chinese and Mandarin languages and takes a screen time of 103 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. The Great Wall was made on a budget of $150 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $334 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Carlo Bernard, Doug Miro and Tony Gilroy. Cinematography was done by Stuart Dryburgh and Zhao Xiaoding and editing by Mary Jo Markey and Craig Wood. The music was composed by Ramin Djawadi.
