Village Roadshow Pictures in association with Bazmark Productions, A&E Television and Red Wagon Entertainment. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Baz Luhrmann, Catherine Knapman, Catherine Martin, Douglas Wick and Lucy Fisher. The Great Gatsby is written by Baz Luhrmann, Craig Pearce and F. Scott Fitzgerald and it is directed by Baz Luhrmann. Warner Bros. Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. The Great Gatsby was released on 16th May 2013 and takes a screen time of 142 minutes. The Great Gatsby was made on a budget of $105 million and at the box office it grossed only $24 million.
