A group of Sudanese refugees given the chance to resettle in America arrive in Kansas City, Missouri, where their encounter with an employment agency counselor forever changes all of their lives. The Good Lie is a 2014 English-language Drama Biography film starring Reese Witherspoon, Arnold Oceng, Ger Duany, Emmanuel Jal, Corey Stoll, Sarah Baker and Kelly Tippens. Alcon Entertainment in association with Imagine Entertainment, Black Label Media and Reliance Entertainment. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Brian Grazer, Karen Kehela Sherwood, Ron Howard, Molly Mickler Smith, Thad Luckinbill and Trent Luckinbill. The Good Lie is written by Margaret Nagle and directed by Philippe Falardeau. Warner Bros. Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. The Good Lie was released on 23rd October 2014 and takes a screen time of 110 minutes. The Good Lie was made on a budget of $10 million and at the box office it grossed only $0 million. Cinematography was done by Ronald Plante and editing by Richard Comeau. The music was composed by Martin Leon.
