Two cops, played by Seagal and Wayans, are forced to work together to solve a chain of mysterious killings by a killer nicknamed The Family Man. The Glimmer Man is a 1996 American English-language Action Comedy motion picture featuring Steven Seagal, Keenen Ivory Wayans, Bob Gunton, Brian Cox, Michelle Johnson, John M. Jackson and Maridean Mansfield Shepard. Seagal/Nasso Productions was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Julius R. Nasso and Steven Seagal. The Glimmer Man is written by Kevin Brodbin and directed by John Gray. Warner Bros. acquired the distribution rights for the film. The movie has a running time of 92 minutes. The Glimmer Man was made on a budget of $45 million and at the box office it grossed only $20 million. Cinematography was done by Rick Bota and editing by Donn Cambern. The music was composed by Trevor Rabin.

True enough, Wayans does manage to wring a laugh or two out of this lame duck material, and there is at least one superb stunt (Wayans leaps head first out of a third story window as the building explodes behind him), but for the most part, The Glimmer Man is simply a spectacular belly flop of an action movie neither good enough nor bad enough to be anything but instantly forgettable, though not necessarily painless.
