During Jacks eighteenth birthday party, a man named Jess Walters gives Jack a gift from his missing father, beans, which Jack throws into a field and discovers a beanstalk the next morning that transports him to a different land where he reunites with his father and together they encounter a sorceress named Selina, who plans to bring beasts to Earth, but ultimately Jack saves the day and Selinas intentions are left unclear.
