The disturbing story of Abu Zubaydah, the first detainee subjected to CIAs Enhanced Interrogation Techniques, exposes his prolonged detention without charge or fair trial at Guantánamo Bay, reflecting a nightmarish state reminiscent of Kafkas works and contradicting Americas professed ideals of justice and due process. The Forever Prisoner is a 2021 American English-language Documentary Crime film featuring Stephen Gaudin, Chantell Higgins, Daniel Jones, Steven Kleinman, Joseph Margulies, James Mitchell and Abu Zubaydah. Jigsaw Productions in association with HBO Documentary Films. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Erin Edeiken, Cathy Scott Clark, Alex Gibney and Raymond Bonner. The movie is directed by Alex Gibney. HBO acquired the distribution rights for the film. The Forever Prisoner was released on 6th December 2021 and takes a screen time of 119 minutes. Cinematography was done by Ben Bloodwell and Antonio Rossi and editing by Alexis Johnson. The music was composed by Will Bates.
