On a remote island, food mysteriously bubbles up from the ground causing chickens, rats, wasps and other creatures to grow to an enormous size, leading to attacks and deaths, and even after Morgan destroys the abnormally large rats with a dam explosion, the abnormal growths continuation is implied. The Food of the Gods is a 1976 American English-language Adventure Horror motion picture starring Marjoe Gortner, Pamela Franklin, Ralph Meeker, Jon Cypher, Ida Lupino, John Mcliam and Kevin Schumm. The Food of the Gods was Produced by Samuel Z. Arkoff and Bert I. Gordon. The motion picture is written and directed by Bert I. Gordon. American International Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. The Food of the Gods was released on 18th June 1976 and takes a screen time of 88 minutes. The movie made a box office gross of $67 million. Cinematography was done by Reginald H. Morris and editing by Corky Ehlers. The music was composed by Elliot Kaplan.
