A Harvard Law School graduate named Mitch McDeere joins a law firm called Bendini, Lambert, Locke, and soon discovers their involvement in illegal activities, leading him to collaborate with the FBI to gather evidence against the firm in exchange for his brothers release from prison, ultimately managing to expose the firms wrongdoings and reconciling with his wife. The Firm is a 1993 American English-language Drama Mystery movie starring Tom Cruise, Jeanne Tripplehorn, Gene Hackman, Ed Harris, Holly Hunter, Hal Holbrook and George Nowak. The movie is based on The Firm by John Grisham. Davis Entertainment in association with Mirage Enterprises. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Scott Rudin, Sydney Pollack and John Davis. The Firm is written by John Grisham, David Rabe, Robert Towne and David Rayfiel and it is directed by Sydney Pollack. Paramount Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. The Firm was released on 30th June 1993 and takes a screen time of 154 minutes. The Firm was made on a budget of $42 million and at the box office it grossed only $1 million.
